🡐 1943 Season 1941 Season 🡒

After eight seasons under Stan Bates, the Bearcats would have difficulty reestablishing themselves again and their first season under the young Coach Pripp was especially tough. The season was marked by a weak offense and an ineffective defense. The only highlight of the season was the lone victory of the year which came against Burlington. In one of the last games of the season, the Bearcats matched up against Bates and the Snohomish Panthers in an emotional game, falling to 21-0. In the last game of the season, Sultan dispatched Monroe to end the year with a 1-6-1 record. In the offseason, Coach Pripp left the team to join the military and would be replaced by J.H. Zile for the next season.
